Five years ago I was in deep turmoil about where to go with my business. Due to corporate restructurings, I'd just lost several major long-term clients who had provided a huge portion of my income in the previous years. I was having a hard time deciding what direction to pursue and an even harder time articulating it to others.
Who did I turn to for help? Robert Middleton - an expert in helping independent professionals market their services. He was just what I needed at that point in my life. Today his ezine is one of the few I still take time to read. His approach is very much in alignment with mine.
To learn more go to Robert's Action Plan Marketing website. Make sure you sign up for his ezine too. You get a free 24-page Marketing Plan Workbook when you do. Also, his InfoGuru Marketing Manual is excellent. I highly recommend it.
Finally, Robert will be holding "Cracking the Marketing Code" workshops this summer in New York City (Manhattan) on July 16/17 and London on July 23/24. If you're an independent professional and live nearby, I recommend you investigate further.

I really am delighted to have found your blog and see another interesting view point on sales. I try to learn more every day now, even though I have been in sales for more than 10 years. It is the sort of profession that we need to keep on our toes and keep our ideas fresh so to find something as fresh as your blog pleases me so much.
I myself, now work with a digital marketing agency as a business development executive and know how important it is to listen to others.
I shall be subscribing and read avidly all your future posts.
Cheers!
